Building Code Requirements

Heyer Engineering Inc. is familiar and works daily with IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, and many other specialized codes required to complete any style of structural design.  Every instance new codes are implemented, Heyer Engineering Inc. studies and implements its requirements into our engineering design process.

Submittal Drawings (Shop Drawings)

A part of all construction projects is the submittal or shop drawing process. At Heyer Engineering all submittals are reviewed by the Engineer who designed the project. We review and then return them quickly to expedite the work.

Field Observation and Engineering

Heyer Engineering Inc. provides either observation or, if required, field engineering on our projects. If it is vital to a client that we work with the contractors to complete a complicated design, we will be happy to be in the field to assure that the design intent is accurately translated and properly executed.

Governmental Requirements

We work with United States military and civilian agencies and provide engineering design to projects at military airports, National Guard facilities, border stations, Corps of Engineer projects, federal courthouses and metric required projects.  We also work with projects that require FM Global design standards as well as OSHA standards where applicable.

Our clients can be assured that proprietary project information is kept confidential. We are conscious of your security needs.

Heyer Engineering has engineering expertise in steel, wood, concrete, prestressed/precast concrete, architectural precast concrete, masonry, light gauge steel framing, and aluminum construction.  Our engineers are adept in providing solutions for construction issues working within a given project’s design size and budget.
